Who Are We?
The Medicaid Unit operates under Health Department Objective 2.1 A: Assure 100% access to needed health care.
Our Mission is to assist our community to participate in the Oregon Health Plan, as well as provide access to other available health and human services.
The Medicaid Enrollment Unit is
located in the Community Health
Services group of Multnomah County
Health Department. We operate under
contract from the State of Oregon
to provide outreach and enrollment
for the Oregon Health Plan and
other related health and human
services.
We employ 8 Eligibility Specialists
located at 7 Health Centers; the
Specialists provide application
assistance to clients as well as
outreach to
more
than
100
community
and Health Department partners.
