Chain Restaurant Nutrition Labeling Policy Initiative
A Chain Restaurant Nutrition Labeling Policy Order was passed in July 2008 by the Multnomah County Board of County Commissioners, acting as Board of Health. The Health Department is coordinating a public rule-making process to set forth how Policy Order 08-114 will be implemented and enforced. The draft rules are now available. More»
Multnomah County Health Department Honored for Excellence in Public Health
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) honored Multnomah County Health Department for implementing a program that demonstrates exemplary and replicable qualities in response to a local public health need. Integrating Behavioral Health in Primary Care is one of 25 local public health programs selected from across the nation to receive NACCHO’s Model Practice Award. Read more»
Health Impact Assessment of the Columbia River Crossing
