Health Assessment & Evaluation


This unit of the Multnomah County Health Department conducts health assessments and research, and analyzes and provides data to the Health Department and the general public.


About Us

Our mission is to work collaboratively with Health Department programs and the community to provide quality data analysis, health assessment and evaluation.

Our goals at HAE include the following:

  • Assess public health strengths and needs through data collection, analysis, and dissemination;
  • Assist the Health Department to develop programs, acquire external resources, and monitor and evaluate selected grant-funded programs;
  • Conduct evaluation of selected Health Department programs and community partnership programs;
  • Engage in research of pertinent public health concerns, promoting community partnership in the process.
