Health Equity Initiative EducateThe second step in advancing health equity is to share information with the community and get their input on solutions. Community Dialogue
The documentary, Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?, shows inequities that certain populations face. But we need the community, especially those who have historically been left out of decision-making, to help us understand what actions we should take to address these challenges. In the spring and summer of 2008, Multnomah County was one of several communities across the country to feature the Unnatural Causes documentary in a series of community discussions. We invite you to schedule a viewing of Unnatural Causes and to continue the discussion about the root causes of health disparities.
