Health Equity Initiative

Take Action

There are many ways you can make a difference in the fight for health equity. In the end, it all boils down to choices you make as an individual: the choice to get involved!

Contact Your Elected Officials

Share what you learned about health equity with your county commissioner, state senator or state representative. Once you know who represents you, you can:

  • write, phone, or email
  • visit them
  • share your opinions at a public meeting (individuals are generally allowed a limited time to speak)
