Diversity and Quality Team (DQT)

The Diversity and Quality Team (DQT) is open for new members

The DQT, the Health Department’s cross functional workgroup which reflects and guides the quality of Health Department services, is open for new members. DQT effectively supports the mission of the Health Department, the development of a culturally competent workforce, the delivery of quality services to our patients and community, the Health Department’s succession planning efforts and the County’s Affirmative Action Plan.

Participation on the Team is an excellent opportunity for staff to develop leadership skills through:

  • Learning and utilizing facilitative leadership skills
  • Establishing cross departmental working relationships
  • Further developing knowledge in how issues of diversity and quality affect the work of the Health Dept.

If you are interested please fill out the application and send it to your supervisor so that it can be submitted to Graham Harriman, DQT cochair (graham.a.harriman@co.multnomah.or.us or I/O mailstop 420/1). DQT will be looking for six new members. The application deadline is Friday, March 7, 4 PM. Thank you.
