Healthy People in Healthy Communities

Community Capacitation Center

a popular education training

The Community Capacitation Center provides support to community agencies and leaders to develop the skills they need to identify and address their own most pressing health issues. We provide training (capacitation) for community health workers and conduct popular education training with a variety of groups.

We also conduct community-based participatory research, and do culturally-specific health promotion in a variety of communities, such as youth of color, Latinos, and the disability community.
